Gecko Tribe, LLC has released updates to CaRP, the popular RSS to HTML converter, enabling websites to display content from newsfeeds using podcast and Media RSS technology, as well as feeds in a wider variety of languages. Webmasters looking for automatically updating, search engine friendly content can use CaRP to convert RSS feeds to HTML and integrate it seamlessly into their webpages. The recent enhancements to CaRP enable it to display images from feeds using Media RSS extensions, such as those published by the Flickr photo tagging service, and to display icons linking to the audio files pointed to by podcast feeds. Internationalization enhancements include automatic conversion and proper multi-byte character handling of feeds published in a wide variety of character encodings such as those used by Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and many other newsfeeds
